Facilitated completely through virtual interactions, this new model of authoring went beyond writing and editing to become an international effort in community building and professional growth.

Digital information technologies are transforming the way we work, learn, and communicate. Within this digital revolution are new learning approaches that transform hierarchical, industrial-based models of teaching and learning.
In the creation of this book, we employed the very principles we espouse, sharing ideas to produce new thinking in a unique interactive, collaborative research model based on the formation of online relationships among 50 contributors from around the world, representing research, administration, and business communities.
